“Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder”, and how we illustrate beauty and glamour is subjective. A dog is a man's best friend, but are we theirs too?

Cruella de Vil is what is crossing our minds when we think of ornamenting doggos. Pheww!! That Woman! Belle, Marmaduke, Agent F (aka) Frank, Snoopy, Beethoven, Benji, Hachiko, and of course Scooby. These four-legged creatures of awesomeness have fascinated our lives every day.
It is not just about going awww every time you see a pet. What matters is how we take care of them and respect each other's lives.
The country is hearing stories of how animals and pets are facing exploitation. It is scary to hear that such brutality and violence still seem to persist in the educated world we reside in.
Pets have been the best epitome of love and loyalty in contemporary times. This notion is more concrete with urbanization kicking in the terrains of how we comprehend the beauty and lifestyle industries that have traversed drastically.
Pet Salons, grooming, and clothing for pets have become a fast-growing trade in the Global South. It certainly has a direct affinity to the way we consume westernization.
These patterns have paved the way for how pet parents have devoted their time and effort to grooming our purr-fect friends.
The earliest form of worshipping dogs lies with the Egyptians who considered them sacred beings. It began with the Elizabethan era when pets were considered royal too.
You could be holding the great-great-great x-something creature who must have sat on the royal throne with the queen once!
The stigma around beauty and face products has been a constant hegemony for the women belonging to any society. The never-ending pressure of being attractive and presentable has become prevalent in all their lives.
PETS AND CELEBRITIES
From the Kardashians to the friends' trio in Mean Girls, we have seen how pets have gained engagement with the media.
It does take a lot of time to be doing this daily and gets your furry friends feeling discomfiting after a point in time.
Hair dyes, body hair being straightened and curled, nails painted, makeup, paired with clothes, hats, and how do we forget the jewelry?. The list is quite exhausting.
DO WE KNOW HOW THE PETS FEEL?
It is obvious that pets are social beings but again that comes with a layer of boundaries too, and sometimes as pet parents, we may tend to overstep them.
The weather is constantly changing and it becomes challenging for pets to acquaint themselves with the varying environments as it is, adding layers of clothing and accessories, tends to make them feel uneasy and would be heavy on their body, as it is something that they are not used to.

So, when pondering upon why all the Glitz and Glam, the answer is pretty clear: to establish a social media presence for themselves and their pet gets included in the process.
As individuals let us begin showing empathy towards the feelings our pets have and not overburden them with commodities like these.
It is understandable if it's done probably the day they were born but to have it as a routine could be causing uneasiness to your pet and affecting their emotional stature.
Let us learn to appreciate and adore them the way they are beauty doesn't always have to be from the outside, it could also revolve around the little time we spend with our pets along with our family, playing games, or even a nice evening walk or cuddle up with them on a December night and enjoying the best companion you could ever ask for.
